6. Commercial Use of Materials

  • All written materials, training plans, handouts, video links, and session recordings (if applicable) provided by Dog Home Alone are for private use only. Clients agree not to reproduce, copy, sell, distribute, or repurpose this content for any commercial or public use without explicit, written consent from the trainer.

7. Private Virtual Training Sessions

  • The trainer will provide live, one-on-one virtual coaching tailored to help you understand and address your dog’s needs. Success depends on your active participation. While every effort will be made to support your goals, behavioral progress is never guaranteed, as it depends on consistency, environment, and individual factors.
  • By signing up, you agree to follow training instructions, complete recommended exercises, and provide feedback as needed between sessions.

The trainer reserves the right to discontinue services (“fire” the client) if it becomes clear that the client is not engaging in the training process or not putting in the necessary effort to support their dog’s progress.
In such cases, the trainer may issue a partial refund for unused sessions at their discretion.

8. Technical Requirements

Sessions are conducted via [Zoom/Google Meet]. You will receive the session link at least 12 hours before your scheduled time. Clients must ensure they have:

  • A stable internet connection

  • A functioning webcam and microphone

  • A quiet, distraction-free environment

If technical issues arise on the trainer’s side, the missed time will be rescheduled. Delays on the client’s side may result in shortened sessions.

9. Training Session Guidelines

  • Please arrive on time. Sessions will end at the scheduled time, even if started late.

  • Anyone involved in the dog’s care or daily life is encouraged to attend.

  • Clients are advised to complete a pre-session intake form (sent by email) for the most productive session.

10. Ethical Treatment of Animals

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for the use of punishment, intimidation, or force-based methods. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Hitting, yelling, or leash-jerking

  • Choke, prong, or shock collars

  • Physical restraint beyond humane handling

Should this behavior be observed during a session, you will be asked to stop immediately. Continued violation of this policy may result in termination of services without refund.

This policy is designed to maintain structure and accountability while offering some flexibility for life’s unexpected moments. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
