Maybe they bark non-stop, scratch at the door, destroy things, or seem glued to you when you’re home. It’s not that they’re being stubborn or spoiled: these are signs of separation anxiety, and they’re more common than you might think. If every outing feels like a guilt trip and your world revolves around keeping your dog calm, you’re not alone. I’m here to help you both breathe easier. 💛
and many more….

Here’s the honest truth: if your dog continues to experience panic when left alone during training, it becomes harder for them to believe they’re actually safe. That’s why I ask all clients to commit to managing absences while we work together.
This might mean adjusting your schedule, calling in a few favors, or exploring options like sitters or day stays. I know it’s a big ask, but it’s one of the most important things you can do to help your dog succeed.
And I promise, the effort you put in now will be worth it. 🐾

Separation anxiety goes beyond normal boredom or mild distress. Signs include destructive behavior, excessive barking or whining, house soiling (even if housetrained), drooling, panting, and escape attempts when left alone. If your dog shows these behaviors, an assessment can determine if separation anxiety is the cause.
Unfortunately, no. Without proper training, separation anxiety usually worsens over time. But with the right approach, your dog can learn to feel safe and comfortable when alone.
Separation anxiety is a fear-based disorder, not a behavioral issue. That’s why traditional training methods (like crate training, punishment, or letting them “cry it out”) don’t work and can even make things worse. My approach is based on gradual desensitization, ensuring your dog feels safe at every step.
Every dog is different! Some show improvements within a few weeks, while others need months of gradual training. Consistency and patience are key. My goal is to set a pace that works for your dog so that progress is long-lasting.
Not yet! In the beginning, we work with controlled absences to prevent setbacks. I’ll help you plan alternative solutions (like pet sitters, daycares, or adjusted schedules) while your dog is still learning.
At first, yes. You’ll need to commit to avoiding stressful alone time for your dog while we work through the process. But I’ll help you make it work within your routine.
Nope! All training is done remotely through video calls and online coaching. This allows me to assess your dog in their natural environment without the added stress of an in-person visit.
You’ll record short videos of your dog’s training sessions, which I’ll review to analyze body language and progress. We’ll also have regular Zoom calls to adjust the plan, troubleshoot challenges, and keep everything on track.
It’s common for dogs with separation anxiety to also struggle with noise phobias, reactivity, or general nervousness. I take a holistic approach, meaning we won’t just focus on alone time—we’ll also work on reducing your dog’s overall stress.
I specialize in severe cases! Even dogs who can’t tolerate a few seconds alone can improve with the right training. The key is going at their pace and making sure they always feel safe.
Because training success depends on your consistency and commitment, I don’t offer refunds. But I’m here to support you every step of the way and ensure your dog makes progress!
Many training programs move too fast or use outdated methods that don’t consider your dog’s emotional state. My approach is fully customized to your dog’s needs, focusing on gradual progress, stress reduction, and clear communication to set them up for success.
The first step is a comprehensive assessment, where I’ll evaluate your dog’s behavior, triggers, and stress levels. From there, we’ll create a personalized training plan to help your dog feel safe when left alone.
